About Acupuncture > Commonly Treated Disorders |
One treatment per week is commonly recommended for most chronic conditions. Two treatments per week is usually recommended for most acute conditions. As a general rule, acupuncture isn’t a one treatment cure-all but rather requires a series of treatments. It is usually recommended that a patient commit to at least six to eight treatments for optimal benefits. Every individual is different, however, so this is determined on a case by case basis.
